About Triumph

Triumph Industrial Park located at 505 Blue Ball Road, Elkton, MD was founded in 1941 as Triumph Explosives, Inc. The Navy produced 40mm and hand grenade ordinances on 525 acres. After WWII, James S. Waters was one of five

businessmen who purchased the property for future use as an industrial park.

The Waters family currently owns 113 acres. In 1971, after college son James E. Waters, Il, came on board. In 1983, he

acquired it from James S. Waters where spec and build to suit building continued.

In 1996, James Bryan Waters, James E.’s son, started full time with the business. In 2000, Laurel Waters Poretz, James E.’s daughter, started with the business as office manager. The three family members manage the park with over 200 thousand square feet of improved space currently being leased. The

management team brings a significant amount of experience.

The park currently has 21 tenants and approximately 17 other property owners.
